Science in Sport's REGO Rapid Recovery gives you 22g of carbohydrate to restock the glycogen you've just burned through, alongside 20g of protein to begin repairing muscle. The protein is soy, not whey, so it's fully plant-based and contains no lactose. That's why a lot of riders move to it after finding dairy sits badly following a hard effort.
Trying it for the first time?
A serving is 50g, so this 500g bag gives you 10 servings at around £1.45 each. It's the easy way to try a flavour before committing. Once you've found the one you like, the 1.5kg bag of REGO Rapid Recovery gives you 30 servings and works out roughly 8% cheaper per serve.
Flavours: Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla.
How to use it
Add 50g (two full scoops) to 500ml of cold water and shake. Best taken within 30 minutes of finishing, while the recovery window is still open.

Informed Sport tested. Every batch is screened for banned substances, so it's safe for riders subject to testing.
Common questions
Is REGO Rapid Recovery vegan?
Yes. It's made with soy protein and contains no dairy, so it suits both vegans and anyone who's lactose intolerant.
Is it whey protein?
No, this is the plant-based formula. If you've seen it listed as whey elsewhere, that's a mislabel.
How many servings are in a bag?
Ten in this 500g bag, based on the standard 50g serving. The 1.5kg bag holds thirty.
When should I take it?
Within about 30 minutes of finishing. It works after both short intense sessions and long endurance rides.
Which flavour should I pick?
Chocolate is our best seller. Vanilla is the mildest if you find recovery drinks cloying, and strawberry is the lightest option after a hot ride.
