If your bike runs Shimano's two-piston brakes, these are almost certainly the pads it takes. The B01S shape covers the MT200s fitted to most hardtails sold in the last decade, along with the older M445 to M575 family. It's the most common disc pad in Britain, and the one most likely to be quietly worn to the backing plate before anyone notices.
What fits
Shimano BR-MT200, MT300, MT400, M445, M446, M485, M486, M515, M525 and M575. If your brake isn't listed, check the shape of the pad you're removing against the photos before ordering, or message us and we'll confirm it.

What they're made of
A semi-metallic friction surface on a steel backing plate, with Kevlar and copper fibres worked through the resin. The copper is there to pull heat out of the braking surface, which is what stops the bite going soft partway down a long descent. Semi-metallic sits between organic and fully sintered: more bite and better heat handling than organic, less noise and gentler on rotors than sintered.
Why buy ours
We make these under our own name, which is why they cost a fraction of Shimano's own pads for the same fitment. There's no distributor margin in the price because there's no distributor. If you go through a set or two a season, that difference adds up faster than almost any other upgrade.
Fitting
Sold as one pair, enough for one calliper. If you're doing front and rear, order two. Bed them in properly before you rely on them: ten or so firm stops from moderate speed, without coming to a complete standstill, so the pad material transfers evenly to the rotor. Skip this and they'll feel disappointing for the first few rides.
