TPC Semi-Metallic Disc Brake Pads – Hope RX4, RX4+, Mono M4 & E4 2013

Hope's RX4 is the calliper a lot of gravel and road riders fit when they want more than a stock flat-mount brake will give them, and the Mono M4 and E4 have been on trail bikes for years. Both take the same pad, and these are ours.

What fits

Hope Mono M4 and E4 from 2013, Hope RX4 callipers and Hope RX4+ callipers. Note that Hope have used the M4 and E4 names across more than one calliper generation — if yours predates 2013, check the pad shape against the photos before ordering, or send us a message and we'll work it out with you.

What they're made of

Semi-metallic friction material on a steel backing plate, rated for middle and high temperatures. On a road or gravel bike that matters more than people expect: a long alpine descent on drop bars puts more sustained heat through a brake than most trail riding does, because there's nowhere to shed speed except the pads.

Why buy ours

Hope build excellent brakes, and their pads are priced accordingly. Ours are our own brand, made to the same fitment, at a fraction of the cost. If you're the sort of rider who replaces pads before a trip rather than after, that changes the sums considerably.

Fitting

Supplied as one pair, enough for a single calliper. Order two if you're doing both ends. Bed them in with around ten firm stops from moderate speed before you rely on them, easing off before you stop completely each time so the material transfers evenly to the rotor.
